When she first started in this position, our resorts were known as Beachcomber Parkroyal and were part of the Southern Pacific Hotels Group. In July 2001 they were re-branded as InterContinental. The Beachcomber name was retained for the first two years; subsequently Beachcomber was omitted, and now the resorts are simply known as InterContinental.
